FRIDAY 12:45PM UPDATE:

"So far, so good" is the official update regarding Saturday night's races at Cowtown Speedway.

Depending on who's forecast you look at, there is a 30-40% chance of AM t-storms on Saturday, with dropping precip chances throughout the afternoon hours.

Although the track did receive some precip on Thursday, today's forecasted rains have skirted the track at this point in time.

As of right now, tonight's Go-Kart races are still on, and Saturday nght's races are still on. Be watching the Cowtown Go-Kart forum for any further updates on tonights races.

A big storm just came over the track and the Kowtown Kart races for 7/9 are now rained out...Saturday night's races on the 1/4 mile are still on as scheduled at this time, any updates will be posted to the track website on Saturday morning.
